OPERATION

  • Water Tank Filling:
When using the cooling or humidifying functions frequently, you need to fill the water tank. Lift the top lid of the unit and slowly pour clean water into it so that it flows into the water tank. After filling, return the top lid to its original position. A slight odor and minor discoloration of the water in the tank during initial use are normal; please use with confidence.
  • Using Ice Packs:
The ice packs have unique cooling properties that absorb heat from the water, keeping the water temperature in the tank lower than the ambient temperature for several hours, making the air from the fan cooler.
  1. Place the ice packs in the freezer until they are completely frozen.
  2. Turn on the cooling or humidifying function. The water pump will draw water from the tank up to the top lid. Place the frozen ice packs into the top lid. After a few minutes, the water temperature in the tank will be lower than the ambient temperature.
  3. This unit comes with two ice packs to ensure continuous use. Place them in the upper water tankof the machine.
  4. Do not open the ice pack lids or ingest them. After 4 hours of use, return the ice packs to the freezer until they are completely frozen again. This cycle will provide better results.
  • Using the Remote Control (for LFSH004WH01)
  1. To change the battery, rotate the cover counterclockwise tothe “unlock” position indicated in the diagram to open it. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2025 battery. Then, close the cover and rotate it clockwise back to the “” position.

  1. Before Using the Remote Control:Remove the plastic strip from the middle of the remote control. Ensure that the front of the remote control is aimed directly at the receiver window on the fan.
  2. The remote control operates effectively within approximately 5 meters in front of the receiver. The range may be reduced if the remote is not facing the receiver.
  3. Do not expose the receiver window to direct sunlight, as it may interfere with the effectiveness of the receiver.
  4. Store the remote control properly. If the remote is not going to be used for an extended period or if the batteries are corroded, remove the batteries and dispose of them properly.
  • Control Panel Instructions:
The LFSH004WH01 cooling fan features an electronic touch control switch and timer, replacing traditional mechanical switches and timers. In addition to retaining the classic cooling fan and timer functions, it allows for remote control via multiple channels, providing enhanced convenience for users operating from a distance. When the fan is first powered on, the buzzer emits a sound, the power indicator light turns on, and the fan enters standby mode. Use the following buttons to operate the fan:
    POWER Button:

This is the power switch. Pressing it will turn the fan on, with the buzzer sounding once and the fan entering the operating mode. The medium speed indicator light will illuminate. The fan will operate at medium speed for 3 seconds before automatically switching to low speed, with the low-speed indicator light turning on. To turn off the fan, press the power button again, stopping the motor and turning off all indicator lights and displays except for the power indicator. The fan will then enter standby mode.
    SPEED Button:
This button cycles through low, medium, and high fan speeds.
    COOL Button:
In the operating mode, press this button to activate cooling. It is inactive in standby mode. Pressing this button will enable cooling airflow, and pressing it again will turn off cooling. If equipped, the fan includes a water level alarm function. During cooling operation, if the water level drops below the low-water alarm point, the PCB buzzer will sound several times, and the indicator light will flash continuously. Pressing the cool button or the negative ion button will stop the flashing.

    MODE Button:
This button selects the operating mode, offering three options: Normal Wind, Natural Wind, and Sleep Wind. The default mode is Normal Wind when the fan is powered on. Indicator lights will show which modes are active: Natural Wind and Sleep Wind will have their respective indicator lights illuminated. You can cycle through the three modes while the fan is in operation.

    TIMER Button:
This button sets the fan's timer function while in operation. You can choose from four time intervals: 0.5, 1, 2, or 4 hours. When the fan is in timer mode, the LED display will show the remaining time, updating as the preset time elapses to indicate how long the fan will continue to operate before stopping.

    SWING Button:
This button controls the wind direction while the fan is in operation and is inactive in standby mode. Pressing this button will activate the swing function, and pressing it again will deactivate the function.
  • Natural Wind Mode Operation Instructions:
    High Speed:

The indicator light will remain on to show that the fan is operating at high speed.
    Medium Speed:
The indicator light will remain on to show that the fan is operating at medium speed.
    Low Speed:
The indicator light will remain on to show that the fan is operating at low speed.

  • Sleep Wind Mode Operation Instructions:
Sleep Low Speed: Operates at low speed, with the low-speed indicator light continuously displayed.
Sleep Medium Speed: Operates at medium speed for 0.5 hours, then switches to low speed, with the medium-speed indicator light changing to the low-speed indicator, which remains displayed.
Sleep High Speed: Operates at high speed for 0.5 hours, then switches to medium speed, with the high-speed indicator light changing to the medium-speed indicator. After another 0.5 hours at medium speed, it switches to low speed, with the indicator light changing to the low-speed display.
  • Mechanical Model Operation Instructions (LFSH004WH00):
    Power Off “0” Key:

Press this key to turn off the fan and return it to its default off state.
    Speed Key:
Press “1--2--3” to cycle through the speed settings. The fan speed changes as follows: Low Speed → Medium Speed → High Speed.
    Swing Key:
Press this key to enable horizontal automatic swing of the airflow. Press again to cancel the swing function. The manual horizontal airflow blades can be adjusted up and down to change the direction of the airflow.
    Cool Wind Key:
Press this key to activate the cooling and humidifying function. The water pump in the water tank will start, drawing water from the tank to the upper water tank. The water in the upper tank will then flow onto the wet curtain. If frozen ice crystal boxes are added to the upper water tank, the temperature of the air output can be reduced by approximately 2-3 degrees Celsius within a few minutes, achieving optimal cooling effect. Press this key again to deactivate the cooling function.

Note: The Swing Key and Cool Wind Key can only operate when the fan is in its normal working state.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Air Filter and Cooling Pad Cleaning:
If there are too many foreign particles on the air filter, it will affect the airflow. Therefore, it is recommended to clean it at least once a month.
  1. First, unscrew the two screws securing the air filter and remove the air filter to take out the cooling pad.
  2. Clean the air filter with detergentand a soft brush.
  3. Soak the cooling pad in detergentfor a few minutes, then clean and dry it.
