Ⅲ. Operation instructions

  • Using your coffee machine for the first time
  • Confirm whether any accessories are missing and whether the appliance is not damaged. Then clean the inner parts, then install and operate the machine as per the following steps with diagrams.
  1.  Rinse the water tank then filling with potable water.  
  2. Install the water tank, drip tray, and capsule container in the proper position on the machine.    
  3. Turn the machine ON by connecting the plug into mains, both coffee buttons blink three times.         
  4. Press any coffee button to start heating up with continual lights blinking for approximately 40-50 seconds.  
  5. When the buttons stop blinking and show steady light, the machine is ready for use.    
  6. Press and hold Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously to turn off the machine.
  • Note: Before making any coffee, make sure to rinse your machine by:
  1. Placing a container under the coffee extraction nozzle.
  2. Closing the operating lever and pressing the Lungo button to rinse the machine.
  3. Repeat this three times.
  • Regular coffee extraction
  • After filling with potable water into the tank, repeat the previous operations from step Fig .5 to Fig .7, then please start your coffee extraction as per the following steps with diagrams.
  1.  Place a cup on the Espresso coffee cup tray.
  2. Open the operating lever, insert a capsule, and then closed it.            
  3.  Press the Espresso or Lungo coffee button with its light blinking, and the coffee extraction operations start.
  4. Open the operating lever after extraction stopped, the capsule will be automatically ejected and dropped into the used capsule container.
  5. Note: The pre-defined factory volume for Espresso coffee (20-25ml)/ Lungo coffee (40-50ml). Extraction will stop automatically or press the selected coffee button to stop ahead.
  • Energy saving concept
  1. Automatic OFF mode: the machine will turn into OFF mode automatically after 5 minutes of nonuse. The boiler is turned off and the external surface of the machine cools down. All button indicator lights on the control panel go out.
  2. When the user presses any extraction button again, the appliance leaves standby mode and restarts the heating up process until " Ready to use " mode in approximately 40-50 seconds.
  • Alerts and alarms
  • NTC malfunction: Both coffee extraction buttons blink alternately ( see Fig .13: Luminous alert for NTC malfunction alarm ). Please turn the appliance OFF, wait for 2 minutes, and turn it on again to check if the problem is solved. If not, contact the authorized representative for examination, repair, or adjustment.

  • Personalized Setting
  •  The control panel also can be used to personalize the different extracted coffee capacities.
  •  Note: The pre-defined factory volume for Espresso coffee (20-25ml)/ Lungo coffee (40-50ml).
  • Check whether there is any potable water in the water tank, and ensure the machine turns ON. Waiting until the control panel buttons indicate " Ready to use "( see Fig .7).
  • Then press any coffee button and hold for 3 seconds until coffee flows out then released the button ( see Fig .14). As soon as the extraction has reached the capacity desired, press the selected coffee button again, and the operation is complete.
  • The machine will memorize the current personalized setting and keep the same capacity extraction for next time unless new programming has been defined.

  • Note: If the user fails to press the coffee extraction button to complete the above operation, the appliance will automatically extract coffee for 1 minute ( Volume of approx .150-180ml).
  • Reset to factory settings
  1. Factory setting for Espresso coffee (20-25ml)/ Lungo coffee (40-50ml).
  2. Ensure the machine is turned OFF without mains connected.
  3. Press and hold Espresso and Lungo buttons together for at least 3 seconds, and plug the machine into the mains simultaneously ( see Fig .15).

Ⅳ. Cleaning and maintenance 

  1. Warning: Always confirm that the appliance has been turned OFF from the mains after each use or before cleaning.
  2. Empty the drip tray and the used capsule container after each use.
  3. Clean the coffee extraction nozzle and the machine regularly with a damp cloth.
  4. Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water.
  5. Do not use any strong or abrasive solvent, sponge, or cream cleaner. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
  6. In order to keep your coffee machine working efficiently, you must regularly clean the mineral deposits produced by the water. You are recommended to carry out descaling to the appliance every three months or after approx .200 capsule extractions.

Ⅴ. Important safety precautions

  • The Safety precautions are part of the appliance. Read all of the instructions in this manual carefully before installing or using your new appliance for the first time. Keep them in a place where you can find them and for future reference.
  1. The appliance is intended to prepare beverages according to these instructions.
  2. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
  3. This appliance has been designed for indoor and non-extreme temperature conditions use only.
  4. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight effect, prolonged water splash, and humidity.
  5. This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age, as long as they are supervised and have been given instructions about using the appliance safely, and are fully aware of the dangers involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and are supervised by an adult.
  6. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
  7. This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or whose experience or knowledge is not sufficient, provided they are supervised or have received instruction to use the appliance safely and understand the dangers.
  8. Children shall not use the device as a toy.
  9. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not apply for any commercial use, inappropriate handling or use of the appliance, any damage resulting from use for another purpose, faulty operation, non - professionals repair, or failure to comply with the instructions.
  • Avoid the risk of fatal electric shock and fire
  1. In case of an emergency: immediately remove the plug from the power socket.
  2. Only plug the appliance into suitable, easily accessible, earthed mains connections. Make sure that the voltage of the power source is the same as that specified on the rating plate. The use of an incorrect connection voids the warranty.
  • The appliance must only be connected after installation 
  1. Do not pull the cord over sharp edges, clamp it or allow it to hang down.
  2. Keep the cord away from heat and dampness.
  3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons, in order to avoid all risks.
  4. If the cord is damaged, do not operate the appliance.
  5. If an extension cord is required, use only an earthed cord with a conductor cross-section matching input power.
  6. To avoid hazardous damage, never place the appliance on or beside hot surfaces such as radiators, stoves, ovens, gas burners, open flames, or similar.

  1. Always place it on a horizontal, stable, and even surface. The surface must be resistant to heat and fluids, like water, coffee, or similar.
  2. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use for a long period.
  3. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not by pulling the cord itself or the cord may become damaged.
  4. Before cleaning and servicing, remove the plug from the main socket and let the appliance cool down.
  5. Never touch the cord with wet hands.
  6. Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water or other liquid.
  7. Never put the appliance or part of it in a dishwasher.
  8. Electricity and water together are dangerous and can lead to fatal electrical shocks.
  9. Do not open the appliance. Hazardous voltage inside!
  10. Do not put anything into any openings. Doing so may cause fire or electrical shock! Avoid possible harm when operating the appliance.
  11. Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
  12. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not operating perfectly. Immediately remove the power plug from the power socket. Contact the authorized representative for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  13. A damaged appliance can cause electrical shocks, burns, and fire.
  14. Always completely close the operating lever and never open it during operation. Scalding may occur.
  15. Do not put fingers under the coffee extraction nozzle, risk of scalding.
  16. Do not put your fingers into the capsule compartment or the capsule shaft. The danger of injury!
  17. Water could flow around a capsule when not perforated by the blades and damage the appliance.
  18. Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. If a capsule is blocked in the capsule compartment, turn the machine off and unplug it before any operation. Contact the authorized representative.
  19. Fill the water tank only with fresh and potable water.
  20. Empty water tank if the appliance will not be used for an extended time ( holidays, etc .).
  21. Replace water in the water tank when the appliance is not operated for a weekend or a similar period of time.
  22. Do not use the appliance without the drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling any liquid on surrounding surfaces.
  23. Do not use any strong cleaning agent or solvent cleaner. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent to clean the surface of the appliance.
  24. To clean the machine, use only clean cleaning tools.
  25. The manufacturer reserves the right to change instructions without prior notice.
