Ⅲ. Operation Instructions

  • Getting Started
  1. Remove all stickers, packing material, and literature.
  2. Rinse the coffee pot and water tank with warm water. Take care to protect the fragile parts such as the funnel, strainer, lid and coffee pot if they wil be washed in the dishwasher.
  • Preheating and Cleaning Before First Use

Flush the machine with clean water to remove the sediment, and pay attention to keep the electrical components in the machine dry.

  1. Open lid and pour water into water tank. The amount of water is about 4 cups on the scale of the water tank, and be careful not to overdose.
  2. Close the water tank lid.
  3. Hold the handle of the coffee pot, place the coffee pot on the bayonet near the water tank and screw it tightly.
  4. Place a standard paper filter into the brew basket (do not add coffee grounds).
  5. Plug in the coffeemaker.
  6. Place the carafe with carafe lid into coffeemaker and push the  "ON " switch/ button.
  7. When the coffee machine is finished, turn off the power of the coffee machine, take out the filter paper, and pour out the water in the coffee pot. At this point, the coffee machine is cleaned.
  • Brewing Coffee
  1. Open water reservoir lid.
  2. Take a coffee pot of cold water and pour it into the water tank, observe the water gauge of the water tank, and the water volume should not exceed the maximum scale.
  3. Put the funnel into the designated place of the water tank and screw it tightly. Put the filter into the funnel and then add coffee bean powder into the filter (one full scoop of coffee powder can make two cups of coffee).
  4. Place the carafe with carafe lid into coffeemaker and push the  "ON " switch/ button.
  5. Plug in the coffeemaker.
  6. Press the power switch of the coffee machine to make it work, and the indicator light will be on
  7. When the coffee is done, the plate where the coffee pot is placed can play a role in heat preservation.

     Note: When the coffee machine is working normally, it is forbidden to move the filter and coffee pot.

  1. After use, please cut off the power.

Ⅳ. Cleaning and maintaining

  • Cleaning:
  1. Before cleaning, cut off the power to ensure that the heated parts are in a cooling state.
  2. Take the funnel and filter out of the tank.
  3. Clean as follows:

     a) The funnel, carafe, and lid are all fragile parts. They can be washed by hand in warm water with detergent foam and if  washed in a dishwasher, they should be paid close attention.      

     b) Wipe the exterior and the  "Keep Hot " plate with a soft damp cloth.

     c) Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads. Never immerse the coffeemaker in water.

  1. Put the cleaned funnel back to the designated position of the water tank and screw it tightly.
  • Maintaining Instructions

The damage of the coffee pot is likely to come from overheating. To avoid this situation:

  1. Do not evaporate the water on the  "Keep Hot " plate, and do not heat the coffee machine when it is empty;
  2. In any case, discard damaged coffee pots. Any chipping or cracking is considered damage to the coffee pot;  
  3. Never use abrasive scouring pads or cleansers, they will scratch and weaken the glass.
  4. Do not place the product on or near a hot gas, electric burner, heated oven, or in a microwave oven.
  5. It is forbidden to use the product in rough and improper ways such as  violent holding or intentional beating.
  • Mineral Deposits and Clogging

Mineral deposits(coffee liquid) left by excessive evaporation or long-term cycling which can clog your coffee machine. Cleaning is recommended at least once a month.

     1. Pour white vinegar into the water tank up to the 3-cup level. Add fresh water up to the 4-cup level.

  1. Tighten the funnel and place it into the coffee machine.
  2. Put a piece of disposable filter paper into the installed funnel and cover it tightly. Set the empty carafe on the  "Keep Hot" plate.
  3. Turn on the power switch of the coffee machine to start working, and temporarily turn off the coffee machine when half of the white vinegar flows into the coffee pot. Wait at least 15 minutes and let the liquid infiltrate the inside of the coffee machine to soften the precipitated minerals.
  4. Turn the machine back on and let the remaining liquid drip into the pot.
  5. When the cleaning is completed, throw away the filter paper in the funnel, pour out the liquid in the coffee pot, and rinse it with clean water.
  6. Refill the reservoir with cold water to the 4-cup level, replace the empty carafe, put a paper filter in the brew basket, then turn on the coffeemaker and run another brew cycle to flush out the remaining cleaning solution.
  7. Clean the funnel, carafe and lid by following the cleaning and steps mentioned above.

Ⅴ. Safety Precautions

  1. Before use, please read the instructions carefully.
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
  3. To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids.
  4. After use, please keep it out of the reach of children and take good care of it.
  5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  6. Before cleaning and disassembly, cool the cleaning parts.
  7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  8. The use of an accessory not evaluated for use with this appliance may cause fire, electric shock and other personal injury.
  9. Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  10. Do not place the machine near hot air, electric ovens or stoves.
  11. Keep the liquid flowing in the coffee pot during use.
  12. Please operate correctly in accordance with the design of the coffee machine, and never use any behavior that violates the original design intention.
  13. Do not use rough cloth, hard velvet or other hard wire brushes to wipe and clean the machine.
  14. Do not set a hot carafe down on a wet or cold surface.
  15. Do not use the carafe if the glass is cracked or has a loose or weakened handle
  16. Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
  17. This product is not suitable for children or persons with disabilities.
