OPERATION

Steps:

1. Brewing coffee

      After preheating, the coffee machine will enter into standby mode when both the light of small cup button and big cup button will be always on; Put the coffee capsule into the coffee machine; press the small cup button or big cup button of the corresponding coffee capacity, and the light of the corresponding coffee function button will flash slowly. When the boiler is heated to the preset temperature, it will start to pump water and the corresponding LED light will be always on. The water pump will start to pump water and start the pump timing: the small cup time is 15s, and the big cup time is 35s (corresponding to the coffee capsule: small cup is about 40ml; big cup is about 100ml). When the setting time is reached, the water pump stops working and the indicator light goes out after 6 seconds delay. Then the machine enters the standby mode (the two lights are always on, water pump off, heater not working except the period of constant temperature).

      In the brewing process, press any button S1 / S2, no matter whether the coffee brewing is completed or not, the coffee brewing process will be passively terminated, the water pump and heating pipe will stop working immediately, and the solenoid valve will be powered off and reset. The machine will return to standby mode, and two LED lights are always on.

      When the preheating is finished or coffee brewing is finished and there is no operation for 5 minutes (without pressing the buttons S1 and S2),  the machine will be shut down to enter the power saving mode without any action, including LED no display.

Note 1: if there is no water in the coffee brewing process, please open the handle to check whether there are residual capsules and other foreign matters in the brewing cavity. Please clean before use.

Note 2: if the machine is used for the first time or has not been used for a long time, please do not put the capsule before brewing, and directly brew (at least once to complete the brewing) to remove the residual water stains inside.

Note 3: Please fill in pure drinking water into the water tank before brewing.

2. Coffee volume adjustment setting and factory reset:

2.1 Coffee volume adjustment setting

      When the machine is powered on and preheating is finished, press the button S2 (big cup button) once to start the flow of coffee and then press it again and hold the button S2 (big cup button) down until you get the required coffee volume. The machine will keep memory the setting volume.

Note 1:  ONLY button S2 (big cup button) is available to adjust the coffee volume and has the memory function, and the setting range is 30ml-200ml.

Note 2: The last setting will be replaced after new setting is done.

2.2 Factory reset  

      When the machine is powered on and preheating is finished, press and hold the button S1 and S2 (small cup and big cup button) at the same time. When the two indicator lights LED1 and LED2 flash 3 times, release the buttons. Then both two indicator lights turn to blue light and the machine is restored to factory settings.

3. Cleaning and placing of waste capsule box

      Please clean the waste capsule box (do not brew more than 6 times), shown in the figure below:

4. Descaling and cleaning mode

4.1 Firstly, enter the descaling mode

      Fill in water and detergent into the water tank according to the proportion (the total capacity should not be less than 400ml, the maximum 500ml), turn off the power switch, and plug in the power plug；And there are two ways to enter the descaling mode.

Method 1:

      Press and hold the button S2 (big cup button), and then turn on the power supply switch until the two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second (commonly known as water lamp). And then release the S2 button to enter the cleaning mode;

Method 2:

      When the brewing time reaches 300 times, the machine will automatically enter the descaling mode. The two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second(commonly known as water lamp) to remind customers of the need for descaling.

4.2 Descaling steps:

      After entering the descaling mode, the two indicator lights flash alternately twice a second (commonly known flowing water lights). Then press S1 or S2 button, the water pump and heater will start descaling. The water temperature and temperature will be controlled at 70-80 ℃.

      After the operation time is about 90 seconds, the water pump and heating  will stop running immediately and wait for the next steps cleaning work (Note: the machine is still in descaling mode at this time).

      After descaling, fully fill the clean water into the water tank, and then press any button to enter the cleaning mode. After 90 seconds of cleaning time, the water brewing stops and the machine enters the standby mode.

Note1: There are two ways to stop descaling：

A. Long press any button for more than 5 seconds to stop descaling or cleaning. If necessary, press again to restart descaling. Otherwise, please turn off the power supply or pull out the plug to exit the descaling mode.

B. You can also turn off the power switch or pull out the power plug to exit the descaling mode. If descaling again, you need to re-enter the descaling mode according to the instructions.

Note2: After the cleaning process, the accumulated brewing number of times will be clear all values.

Note3: Do not use capsules when performing descaling and cleaning operations.

4.3 Drainage function:

      In the powered-on state, simultaneously press S1 and S2 (i.e., the small cup and big cup buttons) to activate the drainage function.

      Indicator lights: two indicator lights flash alternately at a frequency of 1 time per second (commonly known as flowing lights); the draining will be stopped after 8 seconds of operation.  

Note: Every time the button is pressed, the machine operates for 8 seconds and then stops. There is no heating during the drainage mode. The drainage mode is exited when power is disconnected.

5. The power saving mode：

      When the preheating is finished or coffee brewing is finished and there is no operation for 5 minutes (without pressing the buttons S1 and S2), the machine will be shut down to enter the power saving mode without any action, including LED no display.

      In the power saving mode, the user presses any button to enter the standby mode.

6. Protection

① When the machine is powered on, first detect whether NTC is faulty (short circuit or open circuit). If NTC is faulty, all work buttons are invalid, and led 1 and LED2 flash rapidly (4 times / seconds, hereinafter referred to as flash).

② In any working mode, if NTC fails, the machine will stop working (the boiler will not be heated and the water pump will stop working), the indicator will act immediately, and all operation buttons will be invalid.

7. Description of each state of the machine

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

To clean the outside of the machine:

1. Unplug the power plug and cool down the machine before cleaning.
2. Clean the surface with a clean soft cloth, and do not use hard or wet cloth.
3. Please pay attention to the sharp needle in the machine’s brewing chamber to avoid injury.
4. Take out the used capsule container, remove the cover, and wash it with clear liquids or water.

CAUTION

1. To check whether the voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the product.
2. To avoid electric shock and fire accident, please do not immerse the power cord and plug into water or other liquid.
3. Supervision is necessary while the coffee machine is working, do not let children or persons without a self-care ability close to the coffee machine.
4. Please unplug the plug when finished brewing or cleaning the coffee machine. And cool the coffee machine before installing and taking off interior parts or cleaning it.
5. Please do not use and please return to the manufacturer or its service agent for repairing, if the power cord or plug was damaged, or if there were other faults which cause the machine work abnormally.
6. Please do not use the components that is not designated by manufacturer, which will cause harm to the user and cause potential danger.
7. Do not immerse it in water. Use indoors only.
8. Do not let the power cord hang over the table edge or close to anything with high temperature.
9. Do not put the coffee machine on or near the gas or oven.
10. Do not use the coffee machine for other purpose. Use it in a dry place or environment.
11. Use clean cold water to fill the water tank. It’s prohibited to fill with mineral water, milk or other liquid.
12. When pull the plug off, please grasp the plug to unplug the power cord and do not pull the electric wire.
13. While brewing the coffee, the temperature of some parts is very high. Do not touch directly, except the handle.
14. The operation or storage temperature should be higher than zero degree centigrade.
15. Do not use the coffee machine in a place of high temperature, strong magnetic field or humid environment.
16. This appliance is suitable for children of more than 8 years and above age to use.
17. If persons who with weak body inconvenience, sensory and mental retardation, or lack of experience want to use the coffee machine, there must be a person who know the safety operation for guidance supervision nearby.
18. Children under 8 years old are prohibited to operate this appliance. And It’s not allowed to do some maintenance, unless they are over 8 years old and together with a guardian.
19. Do not let the children under 8 years old be able to touch the appliances as well as the power cord.
20. This machine is with grounding plug. Please make sure the family socket is grounded properly.
21. It’s not allowed to use the coffee machine if the water tank is empty.
22. A capsule can only be used one time!
23. Warning:To avoid injury, do not put fingers into the brewing chamber.
24. Warning:The brewing chamber is with hot water. Do not open the handle in the process of operation to avoid injury.
25. This appliance is suitable for household and similar use such as:
    - Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
    - Farm
    - Hotels, motels and other residential environments.
    - Accommodation with breakfast environments.
