Ⅲ. Operation Instructions
- Before first use
- Check for transport damages.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and currentrating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
- Clean the product before first use.we recommend RINSING THE KETTLE WITH THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF FRESH WATER IT ALLOWS. BOIL FRESH WATER INSIDE THE KETTLE TWO TO THREE TIMES AND DISCARD THE BOILED WATER BEFORE NORMAL USE.
Warning: Risk of suocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children -these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suocation.
- Operation
- Put the appliance on a heat-resistant flat surface.
- Lift the lid lever upward to open the lid.
- Fill the kettle with the desired quantity of cold water under the Max line.Close the lid and place the kettle onto the power base.
- Ensure the cable has been connected and the ON/OFF switch is at the OFF position.
- Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The power indicator will then be illuminated.
- Water temperature will continue to rise until boiling occurs. The switch will then automatically go into the OFF position.
- If the water has cooled and you need boiling water again, simply switch the kettle on.
- Cautions:
- Do not fill the kettle above the Max line.This may cause water to boil over and may cause scalding.
- Do not boil other liquids in this kettle. This kettle should only be used for boiling water.
- If the kettle is accidentally switched on without enough water, a boil-dry safety mechanism
- will automatically switch the kettle o.
- The lid should always be securely in place while heating water.
- Do not touch hot surfaces Use handle. Do not touch the heated parts of the base or the
- metal walls of the kettle during or immediately after operation.
- To avoid scalding,always handle with care when there is hot water inside the kettle.
Ⅳ. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
- Cleaning and maintenance
- The kettle should always be emptied before cleaning and storage.
- It is extremely important to remember that cleaning of the kettle can only be performed when the plug has been removed from the power supply.
- Always ensure the electrical connections of the kettle remain absolutely dry.
- Ensure the outside and the electrical connections of the kettle are completely dry before using.
- Wipe the kettle and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products that can cause health hazard or discoloration of the kettle.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind on the interior or exterior of the kettle.
- Never immerse any part of the kettle, especially the cable and base, into water.
- Decalcification
- Decalcification refers to removing mineral deposits, which may form in the interior of the kettle and may result in discoloration.
- To get the best performance from your kettle, decalcify your unit from time to time. Frequency will depend on the hardness of your tap water and how often you use your kettle.
- We suggest using a kettle descaler in order to dissolve these deposits or scale. Follow the directions on the descaler package.
- If a commercial descaler is not available, fill the kettle with enough white vinegar to cover the bottom by about½ inch (1.25 cm). Heat the vinegar to a boil. Repeat this with cooled vinegar until all deposits are removed. When the descaling process is complete, empty the kettle and rinse out several times with clean water.

- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by usmay result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always put kettle on base, then plug cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, push button to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.
- CAUTION: Do not operate your appliance in an appliance garage or under a wall cabinet. Whenstoring any appliance in an appliance garage, always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Be sure the appliance does not touch the interior wall of the appliance garage, and the door does not touch the unit as it closes. Contact could cause the unit to turn on, creating a risk of fire.
- Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
- Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycle.
- Lock lid securely onto kettle before serving any beverages.
- The kettle is designed for use only with the power base provided. It must never be used on a range top.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.Avoid spillage on the connector. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected. The appliance is only to be used with the stand provided.
- Do not use a cracked/broken container or a container having a loosed or weakened handle.
