III. Installation Methods

For your convenience, the shut-off valve, food-grade PVC tubing and faucet connector (includes one gasket) are pre-assembled.

1. Install the Faucet Connector

(1)  When installed on a faucet without a tap aerator

① Install the universal connector onto the faucet, and tighten the clamping screw to avoid water leakage. During installation, remove the sealing rubber sleeve to adjust the inner diameter of the universal connector based on the faucet's diameter;

② Connect the faucet connector to the universal connector and tighten the nuts.

Note: Screwdriver is not included in the product. Please have one ready for use prior to installation.

(2) When installed on a faucet with internal threads

① Unscrew the faucet aerators, put the corresponding sealing gasket on M22/M24 external thread connector, install the external thread connector (with the gasket) onto the faucet and tighten the nuts;

② Connect the faucet connector (ensure the included gasket is properly positioned) to the external thread connector and tighten the nuts.

(3) When installed on a faucet with external threads

① For a M22 faucet: Unscrew the faucet aerators, install the faucet connector (ensure the included gasket is properly positioned) onto the faucet and tighten the nuts.

② For a M24 faucet: Unscrew the faucet aerators, put the sealing gasket into the M24 internal thread connector and install the internal thread connector (with the gasket) onto the faucet. Connect the faucet connector (ensure the included gasket is properly positioned) to the internal thread connector and tighten the nuts.

2. Install the Shut-off Valve

Insert the shut-off valve to the base support. Rotate the valve clockwise until it is vertically upright and ensure the installation is in place. Pull the small clip on the base out and secure it into the lower part of the single valve.

3. Install Purified Water Outlet

①Insert the end of the purified water outlet equipped with a sealing ring into the corresponding hole of the base support, and ensure that the installation is in place.

②Place the water filter near the sink, ensuring that the water outlet is positioned above the sink.

4. Filter Cartridge Replacement

① Rotate the filter cartridge cover counterclockwise and remove the cover from the base support.

② Takeout the filter cartridge by pulling it out vertically.

③ Align a new filter with the filter installation port and slowly press it down until the filter is securely fixed in place. Install the cartridge cover to the base support by rotating the cover clockwise.

IV. How to Use

1. After receiving the water filter, rotate the filter cartridge cover counterclockwise to remove the cover and tear off the protective film of the filter cartridge before initial use.

2. After installation, turn on the faucet:

When the water distribution switch is positioned parallel to the countertop surface, purified water flows out from the water outlet of the water filter;

When the water distribution switch is positioned vertically to the countertop surface, unfiltered tap water flows out from the faucet.

3. During initial use, it is normal that the water filter may produce black water. This is because the filter uses activated carbon and some fine particles may be released during transportation. Flush the filter for 10 minutes before use.

4. It is recommended to flush the filter for 3-5 minutes every day before use.

Notes:

(1) To achieve better performance, Replace the filter cartridge regularly. You can purchase the compatible replacement filters at the Simplus store.

(2) The service life of the filter cartridge is based on average water quality standards in different regions. If the actual water quality or machine usage frequency differs significantly from the average standards, the actual service life of the filter may vary significantly and problems such as premature clogging or ineffectiveness may occur. In such case, the actual condition of the filter should be used as the basis for replacement, and you should promptly contact the local after-sales service department.

(3) The estimated service life is based on the average water usage of a typical household. The faucet water filter is intended for home use only and should not be installed in high water consumption public settings.
