Ⅲ. Operation Instructions
You can use the appliance as a hair dryer, comb or a styler to make your hair wavy or straight.
For faster results, towel dry hair to remove excess water, then run a comb through damp hair to detangle for best results.
- Plug in the appliance and set the switch to the I or II position to comb and blow your hair.
- Use the setting II (high heat) on thick and coarse hair.
- Style and dry your hair using the following tips.
- Separate hair into manageable sections.
- For smooth blowouts, place the brush head close to the roots and brush down toward the ends.
- For voluminous blowouts, place the brush head under the hair close to the roots and roll
- outward to the ends. For extra lift at the roots, hold the appliance for a few seconds under the roots.
- To curl ends IN, place the brush head UNDER the ends and hold for a few seconds before
- rotating inward. To curl ends OUT, place the brush head OVER the ends and hold for a few
- seconds before rotating outward.
- Repeat on remaining sections until hair has been dried into styles.
- Set the switch to the C position to apply cool air to the hair for 10–15 seconds to help ensure that the hair is set for a long time.
3.When drying and styling is complete, set the switch to the 0 position and then unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
Ⅳ. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
- Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool.
- Wipe away any dirt with a dry soft cloth.
- Regularlyclean any hair and other debris that may build up in the air vents with a soft brush (not supplied).
- Store in a safe, dry location. Keep the appliance away from dust and dirt.
Ⅴ. Precautions
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent orsimilarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice..
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- Keep appliance out of reach from young children, particularly during use and cool down.
- Always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
- Do not use this appliance near water.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning.
- Take care to avoid contact between the hot surfaces of the appliance and the skin, paying particular attention to the face, neck, and hands.
- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
- Do not drop or insert any object into any opening
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged in.
- Use the appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
- To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not pull, twist, or wrap cord around appliance.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the airflow is inadvertently obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cut-off device will automatically switch off the appliance. The appliance will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes.
- Keep your hair away from the immediate vicinity of inlet opening to prevent from being drawn in.
