  1. Classify the clothing according to the labels attached thereto before use. Speed of the iron-heating is quicker than its cooling, so shall begin ironing the clothes which require a lower ironing temperature first(synthetic fiber fabric and silk), and then iron the clothes of other materials requiring for higher temperature in proper order, (woolen, cotton and jute, etc.)
  2. Place the iron vertically and set the temperature knob at MIN.
  3. Insert the plug into the socket, turn the temperature knob to the temperature point required by the clothes material, and aim the material identify mark at the heating indicator.
  4. May start ironing when the indicator lamp turns off.
  • Notes:
  • If the iron is placed vertically when there is water in the water tank and water spills out, it is a normal phenomenon and not a product problem. The correct way to use the iron is as follows:
  1. Press the steam switch down to "lock" before adding water;
  2. Before plugging in, please confirm that the steam switch is in the "locked" state and rotate the switch to the required heating gear. Keep the product upright, and the power indicator will light up to indicate that it is heating. Please do not touch the heating plate with your hands to avoid burns;
  3. When the heating is completed, the power indicator will automatically turn off, and then press the steam switch to "unlock";
  4. When ironing clothes, be sure to lay them flat and maintain a flat ironing angle, otherwise, it is easy to leak water.
  • Filling with water
  1. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket before filling( or emptying) the iron with water. Set the steam control to 0 positions (if have a steam function) in order to avoid water leakage.
  2. Fill the filling cup with water. Hold the iron in a titled position and put the water into the iron with normal tap water when using it for the first time.
  3. For refilling, you can also use tap water. However, if the water is very hard, it is advisable to use the distilled water.
  4. Do not put vinegar, starch, chemically descaled water, or descaling agents in the water reservoir!
  • Steam Ironing
  1. Connect the iron to a suitable power supply outlet after the tank has been filled.
  2. Adjust the temperature knob to the wool cotton and jute range accordingly.
  3. Place the iron vertically. After the pilot light turns off, switch on the steam button.
  • For the setting relation between the temperature knob and the steam push button, see the following:

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

Synthetics/silk

(Iow temperature)

Silk wool

(medium temperature)

Linen/cotton

(high temperature)

  • Note: The weighty iron in the main body makes the iron heavier, and this can enhance the ironing effect.
  • Safety Protective Cut-Out
  1. In the unlikely event of the thermostat failing, the protection cut-out will operate to prevent the iron from overheating.
  2. Then the iron should be taken to the nearest authorized service facility.
  • Storage Care
  1. Turn the temperature knob to MIN and unplug the power to store the iron after it is cool completely.
  2. For storage, place it vertically, and never horizontally with the bottom downwards.
  3. Avoid ironing over zippers/rivets on jeans etc. These can scratch the sole

Ⅳ. Clean/Care

  5. Always disconnect the iron from the electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying and when not in use
  6. Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a qualified service agent for examination and repair. Incorrect re-assembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
  7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave the iron unattended when connected to the mains or on an ironing board.
  8. Burns can occur from torching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam, use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down-there may be hot water in the reservoir.
  9. If the iron is not operating normally, disconnect from the power supply. And contact the nearest authorized service agent.
