Attention: Please read these instructions carefully before use in order to avoid damage due to incorrect operation. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide .If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean the device when you use them for the first time.
- Open the top cover and pour clean water to the required level.
- Put adequate coffee powder in the permanent filter.
- Put the filter in the filter basket.
- Put the cup on the pad.
- Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
- The product will be automatically turned off within 5 minutes after completion of last brewing cycle
- Turn on the switch. The indicator will light up and the coffee maker will start working.
- When the coffee is ready, turn off the device first and then remove the cup.
SAFETY GUIDE
- Before plugging in the appliance, check that the current and power match those given on the rating plate.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands, on a damp floor or when the appliance itself is wet.
- Never attempt to open the appliance or repair the appliance by yourself. This could cause an electric shock.
- Do not allow the cable to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects. Remove the plug from the socket only by holding the plug.
- Make sure that there is no danger that the cable or extension cable inadvertently be pulled or cause anyone to trip when the appliance is in use.
- If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord or plug may occur.
- Stand the appliance on a firm, level and heatproof surface away form naked flame (e.g. gas oven) and out of the reach of children.
- This appliance is neither suitable for commercial use nor for use in the out door.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
- Children cannot recognize the danger involved in the incorrect use of electrical appliances. Therefore never allow children to use household appliances without supervision.
- Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and each time before it is cleaned.
- If you want to add some coffee powder during the operation, please switch off the power and switch on again when you finished.
- If there is no water in the tank, switch off the power. If you want to keep coffee warm, switch on the power only for a short time in frequent intervals.
- Use only clean water.
- After using it many times, the filter and cup must be cleaned thoroughly with warm water and detergent.
- Do not switch on the coffee maker when the tank is empty or the cup was removed.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced phycial, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance b a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
CLEANING
*Always remove the plug from the mains outlet before cleaning the appliance.
*Never immerse the appliance in water. You can clean it with a damp cloth.
*The removable items can be washed on hot spray water (or in a dishwasher).
*Descale your appliance regularly. With normal use:
-Hardness up to 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) –2 or 3 times a year;
-Hardness over 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) –4 or 5 times a year.
(Your water supply company can inform you about the hardness of your water.)
*Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth, do not use scouring materials.
*Descale the appliance termly. Use detergent, which can be obtained from specialist shops, and follow the instructions given.
*After decaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only water to rinse away the detergent remainders.
MAINTENANCE
*Keep the appliance away from hot objects and clean it regularly.
*If your appliance is not functioning correctly, it must only be repaired by the appointed service agent.
*If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by a repair shop appointed by the manufacturer, because special purpose tools are required.
