ASSEMBLY

  • Attach fixed handle
  1. Surround handle tube with the two handle grip pieces and press together until you hear a click. Use screwdriver to insert the two screws. Be sure the tube is between the handles before screwing in screws.
  2. Insert handle tube into hand vac.

  1. Attach floor nozzle to unit.
  2. When finished, wrap cord around hooks for convenient storage.

 

OPERATION

  • On and off

  1. Turn on: slide the power switch to the on position
  2. Turn off: slide the power switch to the off position
  • Operate hand vac

  1. Slide release button back then remove handle from the machine
  2. Remove nozzle by pulling on rear of nozzle and pull from the machine
  • Remove and replace the filter: to maintain performance, filter should be changed every 3-6 months, or as needed.
  1. Depress the dirt cup where it says filter
  2. Hold dirt cup over a waste-basket. Grasp filter and gently pull out filter basket.

  1. Shake dirt and debris out of dirt cup
  2. Remove the filter from the filter basket. Brush the dust and dirt off the filter, or shake the filter inside of the wastebasket

 

MAINTENANCE

  • Clean and rinse the filter
  1. Hold filter under running water to rinse. Do not use soap/detergent. Allow filter to completely dry for at least 24 hours
  2. Put filter back into the filter basket and put filter basket back into dirt cup

  1. To reattach dirt cup: align bottom first and pivot dirt cup until it snaps into place

 

CAUTION

  1. Bring the vacuum cleaner to upright position when using the hose and attachments
  2. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use.
  3. Regularly check the filter to clean or replace
  4. Do not use sharp objects to clean out the hose since they could cause damage
  5. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. Electrical shock could occur.
  6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  7. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or metal capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturers recommended attachments and products.
  9. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  10. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.
  11. Do not handle plug or the machine with wet hands.
  12. Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
  13. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
  14. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use it where such liquids may be present.
  15. Do not use without dirt cup or filters in place.
  16. Store the machine indoors. Put it away after use to prevent tripping accidents.
